Pacquiao upcoming fights will be decided soon, maybe in a matter of days, and more and more it looks likes Bradley – the top junior welterweight in the whole world will be his next opponent in boxing.
Manny Pacquaio which is 54-3-2 38 KO and Timothy Bradley which is 28-0, 12 KO will be both featured in the November 12 pay per view show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Manny Pacquiao narrowly escaped beats against contender Juan Manuel Marquez while Timothy Bradley simply beaten washed up ex-lightweight champion, Joel Casamayor.
To tell that the Casamayor fight was not the best audition for a Manny Pacquiao fight will be an underestimation but Top Rank is about out of options and chances. It was always going to be with Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez or Timothy Bradley. Miguel Cotto will not fight at 147 for the Pacquiao upcoming fights. Juan Manuel Marquez has been tough to deal with for a 4th fight. Timothy Bradley’s ready and willing though.
Bob Arum does say that Miguel Cotto could re-enter the photo. It is not true secret that he was Manny Pacquiao’s choice for June 9, 2012 and that Top Rank was great to go with that fight. It is not happening which is up to Miguel Cotto to drain back down to 147 pounds where he has not fought since 2009’s November when he lost to Pacman with a 145 pounds catchweight.
At this moment, though, all signs are pointing to Timothy Bradley. And even though the Casamayor fight was not whelming, and his previous fight before to that was the snoozer against Devon Alexander.
